Search tips

apple banana
Find rows that contain at least one of the two words.

+apple +juice
Find rows that contain both words.

+apple macintosh
Find rows that contain the word 'apple', but rank rows higher if they also contain 'macintosh'.

+apple -macintosh
Find rows that contain the word 'apple' but not 'macintosh'.

+apple ~macintosh
Find rows that contain the word 'apple', but if the row also contains the word 'macintosh', rate it lower than if row does not. This is "softer" than a search for '+apple -macintosh', for which the presence of 'macintosh' causes the row not to be returned at all.

+apple +(>turnover >strudel)
Find rows that contain the words 'apple' and 'turnover', or 'apple' and 'strudel' (in any order), but rank 'apple turnover' higher than 'apple strudel'.

Find rows that contain words such as 'apple', 'apples', 'applesauce', or 'applet'.

"some words"
Find rows that contain the exact phrase 'some words' (for example, rows that contain 'some words of wisdom' but not "some noise words").

How to Read a DiVa Report

Last updated: 2018-12-17
Support Note:
This Support Note describes how to read a DiVa Report.
Possible Issues:
  • The description details cannot be opened or the trace does not automatically jump to the pressed timestamp
    • DiVa needs JavaScripts to properly display the HTML report content. DiVa uses the Internet Explorer in Background, and the JavaScripts have to be enabled for the Internet Explorer. You can see that your Internet Explorer blocks the JavaScripts by opening the DiVa report with the Internet Explorer and observing the “+” signs in the description field. Try to select a “+” sign, if the JavaScripts are not blocked, it should be transformed to “-“ sign and the detailed description should appear, as indicated in the picture below.

With Windows 10 as OS, Windows Edge is often installed as standard browser and the rights that are configured to the Internet Explorer have been reduced during the system installation. Please make sure that JavaScripts are enabled for the Internet Explorer in your Windows installation, like explained in this link.

  • There is no trace in the report
    • You probably opened the report before you stopped the CANoe Measurement.
    • You are not working with DiVa Reports Analysis but you are using another explorer that blocks Java-Applet. DiVa has got its own trace viewer already and does not need any Java-Applet.

  • The trace does not jump to the correct Timestamp
    • The log that is contained in the report directory does not correspond to the one that has been produced during the test. To avoid a log mixup, the best is to configure the destination file to use a measurement index as field code. The log file name will then automatically be extended with an increasing index.
