Search tips

apple banana
Find rows that contain at least one of the two words.

+apple +juice
Find rows that contain both words.

+apple macintosh
Find rows that contain the word 'apple', but rank rows higher if they also contain 'macintosh'.

+apple -macintosh
Find rows that contain the word 'apple' but not 'macintosh'.

+apple ~macintosh
Find rows that contain the word 'apple', but if the row also contains the word 'macintosh', rate it lower than if row does not. This is "softer" than a search for '+apple -macintosh', for which the presence of 'macintosh' causes the row not to be returned at all.

+apple +(>turnover >strudel)
Find rows that contain the words 'apple' and 'turnover', or 'apple' and 'strudel' (in any order), but rank 'apple turnover' higher than 'apple strudel'.

Find rows that contain words such as 'apple', 'apples', 'applesauce', or 'applet'.

"some words"
Find rows that contain the exact phrase 'some words' (for example, rows that contain 'some words of wisdom' but not "some noise words").

CANoe/CANalyzer License Check

Last updated: 2019-03-01

Why is CANoe/CANalyzer starting with limited feature set?

With CANoe/CANalyzer V11.0 a new installation and licensing technology was introduced. In doing so, the license check upon launching CANoe/CANalyzer has been adjusted.

If no application license is available when starting CANoe/CANalyzer, the program will be launched with a limited feature set. Configurations can be loaded and viewed, but not modified and saved. Also, starting a measurement is not possible.

Generally speaking: For the productive use of CANoe/CANalyzer, such as changing a configuration or running a logging file in Offline Mode, a valid license is needed. This has not changed with CANoe/CANalyzer V11.0. You can find detailed information on this topic in CANoe’s/CANalyzer’s Help and the Vector End User License Agreement.

Currently we are working on extending our license and variants concept to better cover different use cases.
