Search tips

apple banana
Find rows that contain at least one of the two words.

+apple +juice
Find rows that contain both words.

+apple macintosh
Find rows that contain the word 'apple', but rank rows higher if they also contain 'macintosh'.

+apple -macintosh
Find rows that contain the word 'apple' but not 'macintosh'.

+apple ~macintosh
Find rows that contain the word 'apple', but if the row also contains the word 'macintosh', rate it lower than if row does not. This is "softer" than a search for '+apple -macintosh', for which the presence of 'macintosh' causes the row not to be returned at all.

+apple +(>turnover >strudel)
Find rows that contain the words 'apple' and 'turnover', or 'apple' and 'strudel' (in any order), but rank 'apple turnover' higher than 'apple strudel'.

Find rows that contain words such as 'apple', 'apples', 'applesauce', or 'applet'.

"some words"
Find rows that contain the exact phrase 'some words' (for example, rows that contain 'some words of wisdom' but not "some noise words").

Automated Flashing and Testing with CANoe RT and vFlash

Last updated: 2019-08-05

This Application Note suggests a way to automatically implement flashing and testing with vFlash and CANoe RT on a VN89xx or VT-System.

Note 1:
The document is
  • from vFlash 5 on part of the Online Help
  • from CANoe 12.0 on part of CANoe delivery

and will not be updated in the KnowledgeBase.

Note 2:

The vFlash channels have to be configured on the device. This can be done with the Vector Tool Platform Manager:

  • activate the Tool Platform plugin
  • select the Channel mapping page
  • if vFlash is not present as application, right-click on the section below the channel tree and add a new Application vFlash

  • if the number of channels of a specific type is not high enough, increase the value in the line for vFlash
  • now you can assign vFlash application channels with a right-click on the correct HW channel in the tree
