Why Is there an Expiration Date Shown in Vector License Client despite I Have Bought a Perpetual (Non-Expiring) License?
Why is there an expiration date shown despite I have bought a perpetual (non-expiring) license?
The expiration date in the Vector License Client indicates the end of the reactivation period (12 months). In the New Vector License Model every license has to be reactivated periodically. This is different to the Legacy License Model. Reactivation is free of charge. If no Reactivation is performed before the Expiration Date, the product cannot be used any more unless it is reactivated. For Subscription Licenses a Final Expiration Date is given after which a Reactivation is not possible.
