My Vector License Client does not activate the license. What's wrong?
There is more than one reason why online activation might fail:
- If you receive such a message, your Vector License Client cannot connect to the VLAS. Then check proxy settings.
- If you receive a message in the logbook window saying “Activation key contains 1 license(s). 0 license(s) can be activated on this computer or a connected device.”, the license has been activated on or assigned to another device already. It can also occur when a migration is required before the activation. Please check with your admin/the person from who you received the Activation Key.
If your hardware is not selectable as license carrier
If your activation was successful but you don’t see a valid license (with green checkmark) in the Vector License Client, please refer to (depending on your status)
