Remote Desktop: License Cannot be Recognized with CANape 15 SP5
I’m using Remote Desktop and CANape cannot read the license even though the Vector License Client or Hardware Configuration can read it just fine.
- Look for the Vector.INI. The location depends on which drive CANape is installed. (On C-drive, it should be located in C:\ProgramData\Vector CANape 15. On a custom location it will be in the subfolder Exec of the installation folder e.g. D:\..\CANape15\Exec\).
- Open the Vector.INI with a text editor and add the switch ALLOW_REMOTE_ACCESS=1 below the section [Licence] as shown in the picture:
Save the changes in the Vector.INI and restart CANape. The license should now be recognized by the tool.
