How can I convert a DB file into an A2L file?


These are the steps to convert the DB file into an A2L file:

  1. Create a new XCP/CCP CANape device with all necessary configuration steps:
  2. Load the DB file as database for the new XCP/CCP device:
  3. Import the contents from the DB file:
  4. CANape imports all parameters from the DB file into the new A2L file.
  5. Now you are able to open the A2L file in the ASAP2 Studio Editor:
