Ethernet Vector Network Driver with CANoe 10.0
With CANoe/CANalyzer 10.0 the Ethernet Vector Network Driver also called Option Ethernet Driver is no longer automatically installed with the setup of the option Ethernet. The user must install the Ethernet Vector Network Driver manually, if a build-in third-party Ethernet interface of a computer is used.
- Impact in CANoe/CANalyzer 10.0:
After the installation of CANoe/CANalyzer 10.0 the Ethernet Vector Network Driver is not installed. It is only possible to use the Vector interfaces VN5610(A) and VN5640 to access to Ethernet networks and no build-in third-party Ethernet interface can be selected in the Network Hardware Configuration Dialog:
To manually install the Ethernet Vector Network Driver and be able to select a build-in third-party Ethernet interface, you can manually install the Network Driver from the setup directory.
The redist directory of the CANoe/CANalyzer installation setup contains the NetworkDriver.msi.
After installation the build-in Ethernet interfaces are shown in the Network Hardware Configuration dialog in CANoe/CANalyzer and the system tray contains the NetIsolator.
