Search tips

apple banana
Find rows that contain at least one of the two words.

+apple +juice
Find rows that contain both words.

+apple macintosh
Find rows that contain the word 'apple', but rank rows higher if they also contain 'macintosh'.

+apple -macintosh
Find rows that contain the word 'apple' but not 'macintosh'.

+apple ~macintosh
Find rows that contain the word 'apple', but if the row also contains the word 'macintosh', rate it lower than if row does not. This is "softer" than a search for '+apple -macintosh', for which the presence of 'macintosh' causes the row not to be returned at all.

+apple +(>turnover >strudel)
Find rows that contain the words 'apple' and 'turnover', or 'apple' and 'strudel' (in any order), but rank 'apple turnover' higher than 'apple strudel'.

Find rows that contain words such as 'apple', 'apples', 'applesauce', or 'applet'.

"some words"
Find rows that contain the exact phrase 'some words' (for example, rows that contain 'some words of wisdom' but not "some noise words").

"Unknown Error:Error [code:4] …" During DiVa Test Report Creation

Last updated: 2018-09-12
DiVa Test Report is not created due to Unknown Error:Error [code:4] …

If you get the following error while CANoe tries to create a DiVa test report and observe a difference in the two paths like for instance described below, then modify the directory name of the DiVa Project and avoid blank/space-character.

The problem is due to the DiVa-Report-Generator that sometimes cuts off file paths containing space-character (blank). For handling of file paths with spaces or special characters, DiVa uses the ShortPath-Feature of Windows. However this feature may be disabled for a Windows installation.
  • DiVa 10.0 has been improved not to require the ShortPath-Feature.
  • For older DiVa versions the quickest workaround is to use DiVa-project-paths not containing any space-character.
