Search tips

apple banana
Find rows that contain at least one of the two words.

+apple +juice
Find rows that contain both words.

+apple macintosh
Find rows that contain the word 'apple', but rank rows higher if they also contain 'macintosh'.

+apple -macintosh
Find rows that contain the word 'apple' but not 'macintosh'.

+apple ~macintosh
Find rows that contain the word 'apple', but if the row also contains the word 'macintosh', rate it lower than if row does not. This is "softer" than a search for '+apple -macintosh', for which the presence of 'macintosh' causes the row not to be returned at all.

+apple +(>turnover >strudel)
Find rows that contain the words 'apple' and 'turnover', or 'apple' and 'strudel' (in any order), but rank 'apple turnover' higher than 'apple strudel'.

Find rows that contain words such as 'apple', 'apples', 'applesauce', or 'applet'.

"some words"
Find rows that contain the exact phrase 'some words' (for example, rows that contain 'some words of wisdom' but not "some noise words").

How to Set a Fixed Port Role for an AVB Simulation Node

Last updated: 2018-05-09
How can I set a fixed port role for my AVB simulation node?

The BMCA (Best Master Clock Algorithm) which is part of CANoe AVB_IL is activated per default.

If you want for instance to set the tested ECU’s port role to Slave, then please use the PtpSetProperty CAPL function in each simulated node to set it as SlavePort. This will deactivate the BCMA for this node. No Announce Message will be sent any more.

If you additionally want to deactivate the Propagation_Delay_Req message, then you have to use:

  • For CANoe <= 10:  In on start of the peer node the CAPL function PtpSetProperty(„RequestLogPdelayReqInterval“, 127). See also this small example.
  • From CANoe 11 on: The new PtpSetProperty Property „LogPdelayReqInterval“ is allowing to adapt the time interval directly in the concerned node.

If one of the simulated ECU is supposed to be the Clock Master, then the concerned node’s port role can also be set to MasterPort using the function.
