USB GPS Receiver Windows 10 Driver Setup for Use in CANape
I have installed the latest drivers from the manufacture for my USB GPS device but I do not see any signal data in CANape.
Windows 10 might has installed the device under a sensor catergory and not as a COM port device.
Windows 7 – GNSS receiver installed as COM12:
Windows 10 - GNSS receiver installed as a Sensor:
- Uninstall the device from the Sensors and delete the installed driver.
- Referencing the driver version installed in Windows 7.
- Search the manufactures download section for this correspoding driver.
- Download and install.
The receiver should now be installed as a COM device and CANape should now see GPS signal data.
