Issue:
I have installed the latest drivers from the manufacture for my USB GPS device but I do not see any signal data in CANape.
Background:
Windows 10 might has installed the device under a sensor catergory and not as a COM port device.

Device Manager Windows 7 – GNSS receiver installed as COM12:

Device Manager Windows 10 - GNSS receiver installed as a Sensor:

Solution:
  • Uninstall the device from the Sensors and delete the installed driver.

  • Referencing the driver version installed in Windows 7.

  • Search the manufactures download section for this correspoding driver.

  • Download and install.

The receiver should now be installed as a COM device and CANape should now see GPS signal data.
