HP EliteBooks/ProBooks: Vector Hardware Cannot Be Recognized, Blue Screen

Issue:
This SupportNote concerns those customers using the following notebooks and having issues (e. g. Vector Hardware cannot be recognized, Bluescreen)  with Vector hardware:
  • HP EliteBooks or
  • HP ProBooks
Solution:
In cooperation with HP Support we tested those notebooks and found out that the problems with the Vector hardware is due to missing or not correctly installed drivers. The amount of concerned drivers depends on your own Windows Image, customized by your internal IT services.
